Our Family and the move to Jacob’s Finest  

As a family we craved for a change from our hectic corporate schedule and one fine day in 2017 we decided to do something about it. My wife and I decided to quit our corporate jobs and move to the lovely Cotswold countryside with our two beautiful kids.    

The Adventure 

Myself, a qualified accountant, worked for a leading renewable energy provider and my wife worked as a freight trader for a major oil company and felt it was time for a change whereby we could spend more time together as a family and closer to nature. It was at this time we stumbled upon Jacobs Finest and it was the same time when the Jevons, the previous owners decided to retire after successfully running the business for 7 years. Seeing it was a vegan business, got us excited and we set out on our adventure. 


Since we took over, we have been looking into ways to improve different aspects of our falafels – packaging, shelf life, how to make our falafels healthier without compromising on taste, etc. We worked with a flavour consultant to improve and enhance the flavours, ingredients and consistency of our falafels and our efforts have been successful. Our new falafels are tastier, softer and most of our flavours fits into the most trending category of our times – High protein food, if not a source of protein and are also high in fibre also making it a good supplement for meat. Our aim is to promote good vegan food. 
All our falafels are made at our unit in Bristol by a team of enthusiastic falafel lovers. We take utmost care to ensure every falafel that comes out of our unit is yumm…
